Delete your Lovida account and data
You can request permanent deletion of your Lovida account and associated personal data here. You do not need to install the app or sign in to make a request. Requests are free.
Request deletion by email
This opens your email app with a request ready to complete. Sending the email starts a support request; clicking the link alone does not delete an account.
- Email supportlovida@gmail.com with the subject Lovida account deletion.
- Say that you want your account and associated personal data deleted. Include your account email or Lovida user ID and display name. Where possible, send from the email linked to the account.
- Support may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion. If you cannot access your account email, explain this so support can help verify you another way.
Never send your password, verification codes, payment-card details or identity-document images. We acknowledge privacy requests within 5 working days and respond within 30 days, as described in our privacy policy. We will confirm completion and explain any records that must be retained.
Delete directly in the app
- Open Lovida and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm deletion.
This uses Lovida's account-deletion service to remove your profile and sign-in account. Deletion is permanent. Your profile, balances and access cannot be restored, and the same email cannot be used to sign up again. A withdrawal under review must finish first. Contact support about outstanding earnings or purchases before confirming.
If you have a store-managed subscription, cancel it separately in the store where you subscribed. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription automatically.
Data removed
Account deletion removes your sign-in account, public profile and data stored under your profile, including profile details, preferences, profile photos, album uploads, VIP photos and previews. It also removes verification photos, stored face descriptors, verification requests and sessions, and your links to verification devices. These verification records have no additional retention period after successful account deletion.
Deletion also removes your conversations and the photos in them, your call history, notices, support cases and activity records. Conversations you shared are removed for the other person too. Financial, safety and anti-fraud records are kept as described below, with your identity removed from them.
Data that may be kept and for how long
The following periods are set out in our privacy policy. Retained records are used for the stated purpose, such as accounting, safety, fraud prevention or resolving a dispute.
- Your email address: a one-way hash is kept so that the address cannot sign up again. It is not your email address and is used for nothing else.
- Reports and moderation records: up to 3 years after account closure, without your identity.
- Purchase, earning and payout records: at least 7 years under our published accounting retention policy, without your identity or payout details. Any longer retention depends on an applicable obligation or unresolved dispute.
- Backups: rotated out within 90 days under our published policy.
- Verification photos and biometric records: deleted with the account, with no additional retention in active systems. If a legal hold prevents deletion, contact support; we will explain the affected records and the applicable obligation.
- Aggregated, de-identified statistics: may be kept indefinitely once they no longer identify you.
Where a legal hold requires longer retention, we keep only the necessary records for that obligation. Ask support which retained records apply to your account and when they will be removed.
